The 2022-2023 Graphic Design Association, led by Nancy Miller and Joshua Duttweiler, transformed an unused stairwell into a vibrant mural journey. With creative freedom and minimal constraints, students designed an underwater-to-graduation theme representing campus life and the path to success. Highlights include sharks, fish, Islander traditions like the class ring and Hector P. Garcia statue, and a graduation scene with the iconic lei. Visitors can enhance their experience with Instagram photo filters featuring a shark bite, scuba mask, and Alumni Forever frame.
