TAMU-CC 75th Anniversary
Sticker Design | Tumbler | Hat | Ephemera | Time Capsule
To celebrate TAMUCC's 75th anniversary, commemorative materials were created, including a tumbler, sticker, and hat. These materials were carefully designed to embody TAMUCC's history, pride, and spirit, serving as cherished keepsakes for alumni, students, faculty, and staff, commemorating this significant milestone in the university's legacy.
The design was selected to be included in the time capsule that is scheduled to be opened in 2047. They hope that when future Islanders open the time capsule, they will be able to see what was important in 2022. Furthermore, I hope to inspire future Islanders to reflect on what makes the island special to them when they see their work, encouraging a sense of appreciation and value for the unique aspects of their campus and community.
I was quoted by TAMU-CC and KRIS 6 News for my contribution to the time capsule!
Time Capsule
“A time capsule is a fun interpretation of history,” Kowalski said. The 75th anniversary time capsule contains more than 280 items and letters that capture Islander pride and spirit including photos, an Izzy bobblehead, Islander cups, keychains, athletics memorabilia, and more.
My design was selected to be included in the time capsule that is scheduled to be opened in 2047.
